DCO Fundraiser
Our Peer-to-Peer "Breakroom" Fundraising Campaign launching September 10th, aims to raise funds and awareness to our organization as well as the powerful stories of healthcare workers who have faced moral distress in healthcare settings.
This fundraising campaign would allow DCO to comfortably run our organization through 2026, allowing us to continue to pay our peer support facilitators, admin/tech costs, increase our peer support team, build peer support programs and allow for increasing paid contractor roles that come up as needed.
Peer Fundraisers and Team (Break Room) Fundraisers:
Peer Fundraisers are individuals contributing to our campaign through solo efforts, with a goal of raising a minimum of $500 towards our goal of $25,000. Breakroom Fundraisers are individuals contributing to our campaign through a group effort (of 2 or more people). Teams may consist of co-workers, fellow healthcare workers, friends, family members or simply caring individuals looking for a way to give back to healthcare workers. Breakroom Fundraisers commit to raising funds as a group, with a goal of at least $1,000 towards our goal of $25,000.
For the Break Room Fundraiser, we hope to encourage healthcare workers to fundraise with their coworkers in their break rooms (or outside of them if you have a nontraditional role or just care about healthcare workers!). Each break room fundraiser will have a team name, team lead and goal to reach by the end of the fundraising campaign. Each break room's progress will be featured on our website and social media throughout the campaign. The break room that fundraises the most will receive a prize as a thank you from the Don't Clock Out team~

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world.
